Gym Etiquette

A few house rules.

Because we are built on a foundation of mutual gain and respect, our team requests you read the following rules to ensure the safety of all who frequent the studios.

  • Please be punctual. Arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class to settle in.
  • Reserved places will be given away if you are not present at the start of class and if you have not called to notify us of a late arrival.
  • Please note that you may only reserve two treadmills for any specific class – one for yourself and one for a training partner.
  • Please wipe down all equipment prior to change-overs, including treadmills and floor apparatus.
  • Please return to the same treadmill and floor area after each change-over to avoid confusion.
  • When multiple pieces of equipment are being used, please ensure each is returned to the original place for safety, e.g., under the deck and in front of the bosu ball.
  • Please do not throw equipment down when you are moving between exercises or equipment.
  • Request assistance from the instructor or class aid should you require different weights.
  • Please refrain from using your cell phone in studio, as it is very distracting and can be dangerous.
  • Please refrain from talking during stretching. An integral part of the workout, it is a vital step to relaxing and focusing.
  • Please limit entering and leaving the studio during class.
  • If you have to leave early, please do so prior to stretching and not during.
